Activities
 

The Teesside Music Society organises a winter series of high calibre chamber music concerts, both instrumental and voice, by visiting professional ensembles. TMS is a member of Making Music and is supported by Northern Arts. Charity No: 502014

Membership
 


Adult single tickets cost £10. Tickets for juniors up to 19, students, and benefit claimants cost £4.
An interchangeable carnet of 6 tickets costs £50. 
 Season Pass [not ticket] - non interchangeable - only £40.

Members are those who have bought a season ticket.  They are entitled (and welcome) to attend and vote at the AGM
(a half-hour meeting after the first concert of season).  Patrons who make a minimum donation of £10 will receive 1 free ticket for use at any concert, will have their names listed in the concert programmes, and will be invited to meet the artists for a drink at the Patrons’ Party (after the Merchant Quartet concert on 6 Dec 09).

TMS are again cooperating with Darlington Piano Society  so that a Season Ticket for both Societies will cost only £70.
TMS Season Tickets allow half-price entry to  Hartlepool Music Society concerts.

TMS will be co-operating with ARC to promote this concert when we will be able to hear this,
a home-grown ensemble.  One local critic has said that they are the best young ensemble
from these parts since the Brodsky!

Michael is an ex-leader of the Teesside Youth Orchestra who  studied at RCM, Rebecca went
to Chetham's and won a scholarship to the Royal Welsh College of Music, and Alison won a
bursary from Huddersfield to study at the Royal Academy.

Ticketing arrangements

I have forty tickets for sale at £10 each – first come first served.  If you are a member of TMS

(i.e. you have bought a Season Ticket - either a  "Pass", or an interchangeable "Carnet"), you will

be entitled to a discount of £2.
