TEESMUSIC  -  Rotary Young Musician Concerts

Activities
 

The Rotary Clubs of Darlington and Northallerton combine to organize a YOUNG MUSICIAN OF THE YEAR competition in Darlington every November.  All entrants are also invited to perform at a non-competitive Concert in Northallerton the following May.

 

Membership
 

Potential competitors should live within 20 miles of either Darlington or Northallerton.  Entries normally close on or about 31 Oct each year.  Enquiries can be made at any time, either from teachers or by contacting 01609-773666.

Saturday May 19th 2018 at 7.00 pm in All Saints Church, High Street, Northallerton

SPRING CONCERT

All competitors from our November 2017 Young Musicians Competition are invited to come and
play in public for everyone’s pleasure  -  no fee, no adjudicator, just good fun.  After the concert
there are light nibbles together with a glass of wine or juice (donation appreciated).

Admission £6, children free, from Rotary Club members or on the door


 


Saturday 10th November 2018 at Polam Hall School, Darlington

25th Rotary Young Musician of the Year Competition

Various instrumental classes are held throughout the day (admission free) and then
the class winners compete in the Finalists’ Concert at 7.00 pm.
This year’s Adjudicator is Jo Peach from York.


Concert admission £6, children free, from Rotary Club members or on the door
