Richmondshire
Choral Society is an amateur society with about 60-70 members. The society gives two concerts a year, one
usually on the Saturday before Christmas of which the first half is a
performance of one or more seasonal choral works and the second half is
carols and Christmas music with some audience participation; the other concert
is in April and usually is a substantial choral work with professional
soloists and approximately every four years with orchestra. Occasionally the choir joins with
Darlington Choral Society to perform a work that needs the resources of a
large chorus. |
