The North Yorkshire Chorus was founded in 1968 as the North Riding Chorus, and gives large-scale works across the county. There are about 85 members, and concerts are usually performed with professional orchestras and soloists.

Rehearsals are on alternate Saturday afternoons in Northallerton Methodist Church Hall, from 2 – 5 pm.

Choral Ambition Vocal Training Day

based on the works of Karl Jenkins:  The Armed Man & A Mass for Peace

We invite singers to join us to benefit from the vocal training sessions, to experience singing with us, and to learn something from the work of this modern composer.  Free membership will be available for the remainder of the year for those who choose to join the Chorus.  Music scores and a light buffet lunch will be provided.
