Activities
 

These recitals are all held in the 17th century chapel of Sir William Turner’s Hospital at Kirkleatham, near Redcar.  This is a Grade-1 listed building still used to provide sheltered accommodation for elderly people, exactly as the founder intended.

Membership
 

Concerts start at 7.30 pm (doors open at 7.00 pm), with unreserved seats.  Wheelchair users are always welcome; there is level access through the building. Please ring 01642-482828 to reserve a wheelchair space and indicate the total number in your group (wheelchair escorts & companions).

 

Mail order: Cheques, payable to “Sir William Turner's Hospital”, should be sent to Concert Bookings, 1 Sir William Turner's Court, Kirkleatham, Redcar TS10 4QT.  Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope for the return of your tickets.

Credit cards:  Bookings can be made with Gary and Nicky Stonehouse of Gary.biz Computer Shop on 01642-477200, on Mondays-Fridays 9am-5pm, with a charge of £1.50 per order for tickets posted out.

Pick-up tickets:  Pay in cash or by cheque, payable to “Sir William Turner's Hospital”, and pick up your tickets at Gary.biz in the Wynd, Marske-by-the-Sea, on Mondays-Fridays 9am-5pm.  Credit card charge £1 per order.

 

Pay at the door:  Ring 01642-482828 and leave a clear message with your name, phone no, and the number of tickets required.  Please collect your tickets at  least 15 minutes before the concert, after which time they may be sold if demand is high.

Adam Skoumal, who is both a performer and a composer, studied in Prague and has won competitions in the Czech Republic, Italy, Portugal, and the USA.  He has performed in the USA, Japan and across Europe as soloist with leading Czech and Slovak orchestras. Last season he played his Second Piano Concerto with the South Bohemian Philharmonia and premiered his First Piano Concerto accompanied by the Prague Philharmonia.
